Keanu Milano ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and
ensuring
you understand exactly how your data is handled.

We specifically collect and process the following categories of data:
2.1 Personal Data We Collect
- Audio Recordings: The App's primary function is to record audio. This data is stored
locally on your device. We do not upload your recordings to any server unless you explicitly choose to
share them via third-party apps (e.g., email, WhatsApp).
- Device Identifiers (Advertising ID): We collect your mobile Advertising ID (Google
Advertising ID) for advertising and analytics purposes.
- Location Data (Approximate): We may collect approximate location data (IP address
based) to serve relevant ads.
- App Performance Data: Crash logs, diagnostics, and other app performance data.
3. Permissions We Request
The App requests the following permissions to function correctly:
- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Strictly used to capture audio for your recordings at your
request.
- Storage (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to save your recordings to your
device's memory/storage and to allow you to manage (rename, delete, play) existing recordings.
- READ_MEDIA_AUDIO: Required on Android 13+ to access audio files you create or wish to
play.
- Internet Access: Used by third-party advertising networks (Google AdMob) to load ads.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
- Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers
and location data to personalize ads.

Sharing your Advertising ID and other device data with these partners for personalized advertising may be
considered "sharing" or "selling" of data under certain laws (like CCPA/CPRA).
5. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
5.1 Right to Opt-Out of Data Sale/Sharing
You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal data for cross-context
behavioral advertising. You also have the Right to Know whether your personal data is
shared.
We confirm that we share advertising identifiers with Google AdMob for the purpose of personalized
advertising.
How to Opt-Out: You can opt-out of personalized advertising and reset your advertising ID
through your device settings:
- Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID or select
Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- Targeted Ads: You can learn more about how to opt-out of targeted ads by visiting
the Digital Advertising Alliance's
Opt-Out page.
- Within the App: If you are in a region like the EEA or UK, you can manage your
consent preferences via the "Privacy Settings" or "Ad Choices" link in the app settings.
5.2 Right to Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.
- Local Data: You can delete your audio recordings directly within the App's interface.
Once deleted from your device storage, they are permanently removed.
- Third-Party Data: To delete data associated with your Advertising ID collected by our
ad partners, you must reset your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
5.3 Right to Access and Rectification (Correction)
You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you and the Right to
Rectification (to correct inaccurate personal data).
Since our app primarily stores data locally, you can correct your data (e.g., rename recordings) directly
within the app's interface.
6. Data Retention Policy
We adhere to the following data retention practices:
- Audio Recordings: Retained locally on your device indefinitely until you manually
delete them. We do not store copies on our servers.
- Ad Data: Data collected by Google AdMob is retained in accordance with Google's
retention policies (typically up to 13-26 months depending on the data type).
7. Compliance with Legal Frameworks
7.1 GDPR (EU/UK)
For users in the European Economic Area or UK:
- Our processing of audio data is based on your Consent (when you tap record).
- Advertising data is processed based on Consent (via the CMP popup) or Legitimate
Interest where applicable.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7.2 CCPA/CPRA (California)
We do not sell personal information for monetary value. We "share" identifiers for cross-context behavioral
advertising. You have the right to opt-out via your device settings as described in Section 5.1. You have
the right to non-discrimination.
7.3 LGPD (Brazil) / VCDPA (Virginia)
We provide all rights required effectively through this policy and device settings controls (Access,
Correction, Portability, Deletion).
8. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable
information from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided us with personal
information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
